Astrobird (Dream of the Star-Wandering Poet)

The artwork was inspired by Australian Aboriginal art when I was backpacking from India to Australia to Netherlands (Amsterdam). Add to this the dream-like dazzling experience of Amsterdam, and travel-friendly Liquitex prof. markers, and you end up in deep space in the company of Astrobird.

This is a composite artwork which was started on a piece of exquisite canvas during the aforementioned journey. To finalize the piece, a custom-made canvas was ordered and painted with acrylics to complement the central piece.
